Experience #1 - CHARLOTTE’S WEB
Theater Field Trip
Grades K - 6
October - November 2025
Teachers, spin a tale of wonder and friendship with Charlotte’s Web! This production brings E.B. White’s beloved classic to life with wit, warmth, and barnyard mischief. Charlotte’s Web teaches how true friendship can change the world — one word at a time. Experience includes: 1 performance of Charlotte’s Web and talkback; 2 workshops: on stage and behind the scenes; and the KIDS TAKE THE STAGE experience. All-day Field Trips will have lunchtime scheduled, but lunch is not provided.
Experience #2 - OH FREEDOM! A TRIP ON THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD

January - February 2026
Step into history with Oh Freedom! The Story of the Underground Railroad — an immersive theatrical experience that brings one of America’s most powerful true stories to the stage! Perfect for grades 3–8, this field trip uses music, drama, and real historical accounts, introducing students to powerful ideas, legendary freedom fighters, and unsung heroes. Experience includes: 1 performance of Oh Freedom! and talkback; 2 workshops: on stage and behind the scenes; and the KIDS TAKE THE STAGE experience. Experience #4 - RED RIDING HOOD
Theater Field Trip
Grades K-5
March - April 2026
Unpack the unexpected with Red Riding Hood — a hilarious, high-speed, fairy tale with a wild theatrical makeover! A whirlwind of laughs, costume changes, and theatrical magic as Wolfgang and Red, an unlikely duo, play every character in the story… with a few unexpected detours! Students will laugh, cheer, and discover that heroes can come in all shapes, sizes — and roles!
All Field Trip Experiences Include the Following:

Faith Works is comprised of predominately African American Performers & Teaching Artists. All experiences take place at the Russell Theater Space located at 516 South 17th Street. If schools want to bring more than 80 students, Faith Works can accommodate them over multiple days.

Experience #5 - Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters
In School Theater Performance/Exhibit
Grades K-5
September 2025 - May 2026
Experience the magic of African storytelling with Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters — a spellbinding adaptation of the children’s book by John Steptoe! This Cinderella-inspired tale unfolds in a lush African village, where two sisters are invited to meet the king so that one can be chosen to become queen. Along the journey, students discover that true beauty comes from within and that character, kindness, and humility shine brighter than any crown. This performance brings global culture to life and celebrates heritage, values, and the spirit of generosity. Experience includes: 1 performance of Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters, cast photo and talkback. Additional workshops can be added at for an additional fee.
