RAGTIME 2022 REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
Happy Opening!
Below are the notes from last nights final dress. Please reach out to me at 502-558-9986 if you have any questions.
Be sure to check backstage after the show and bring all costume pieces back to the dressing room. Only props should be left backstage after the performance. There were sever items left last night.
If you have a mic, please assume it is on. We heard quite a few extra sounds coming from backstage last night.
Not everything has been tagged yet. Please sure all your things are either at your station or on the rack behind your rack and we will get them marked ASAP.

Amy - no apron in the first scene
Michale - long black socks
Ayanna - no white tights - I have a different pair for you to try tonight
All Men - should always have hat on while "outside". can have it with you "inside" just be sure to take it off
All men - should always have on a tie
Blake - more energy at start of your first solo scene
Locke - don't miss Houdini line
Tasha - be in place sooner when the three groups come together at the end of the first song. everyone had settled and you were still moving to your place
Quinton - Don't turn your back to the audience in the opening - should be out front of the group
Don - stay in your tan jacket for the first scene in fathers house right after opening
Don - review blocking pg 8-9
All men - should have on either a belt or suspenders at all times
Marc - leave overcoat open. don't button up
Blake - further US and open up pg 12 scene
Ayanna - no glitter makeup
Lee - tie for crime of the century
Billy - exit with the ladder pg 20
Don - review blocking for exit pg 20
Locke - good job remembering your props (plane and letter)
Jess - we have fabric for the garden/baby scene. please see me
Lee - review lines pg 23
Harlem immigrants - remove african costumes before you return to platform for poses
Blake - always take your cart with you
Blake - can tuck cart in the USL corner of the set after man wants to buy your little girl
Getting Ready Rag table and chair movers - Jon enter with table 1st and ladies with stools follow
All men - long black socks - should not see ankles
Ayanna - no glasses
Michael - don't look down during dance
Henry Ford - please help harlem cast with aprons and hats. it is a quick change. find a buddy to help you.all men have hats and women have aprons
Locke - hide mic pack
Lee - needs help with quick change into fireman
Locke - needs help with quick change into second look. always tuck in shirt, dress shoes, suspenders, vest (2nd costume), tie
Quinton - address grandfather over your right shoulder so you are not late playing the piano (coon song lines)
Quinton - take hat with you off piano before picnic scene with Sarah
Quinton/Christina - be sure to always support the baby's head
Jon Anthony/Emma - be sure ladder is properly positioned before Emma gets on so that it can be pushed out easily
Billy - stand on side of the stool (poor your rich boy) it will open you up
Quinton - review line on bottom of pg 60
Quinton - need a tie
Jon Anthony - see Ms. Christy for news papers
Darian - no suit coat
Don - no ball cap - hat must be like the other
Michale - tie in baseball scene
Lee - hat for ball game
All in ballgame scene - remember props - popcorn
Jon Anthony - Dark hat for Atlantic City
Jon Anthony/Ayanna - exit as soon as the dance is over
All - if using coins as props, be sure to gram them. - see christy for location
Austin - see christy for prop that you give locke - pg 89 (ride ticket)
Tasha/Michale - close to walls on pg93 - coming out to far
Billy - coins to give darian and michael - see christy
Jon Anthony - don't clean the table if you don't have a rag
All - no gaps in the procession at end of show
